The National Association of liberation Tigers (NALT); a civil society social movement of over 10,000 Nigerian
citizens from different disciplines across the globe, joins the rest of the world to condemn the recent attacks on
foreigners especially Nigerians and other Africans nationals in South Africa.
This sad turn of events is a departure
from the continent's ongoing re-visioning of African integration as a panacea for African solutions to African
NALT decries that this is a set back to our collective will as Africans in stretching out hands of friendship and
goodwill across borders.
This further undermines the position of our continent as the new investment destination
of the world as well the emerging global power block.
You know i always wondered when my parents used to talk about things being better in the old days if it was just some form of wishful white lie but you know i have joined them, things were actually better in the old days for one thing almost every female magazine wasn't filled with some form of sob story and for another a chick didn't have to wait for valentine's day or her birthday to stock up new perfumes #justsaying.
seriously though what has suddenly come over men, where did all the romantic men go? this is exactly what one of my close friends and i were discussing this weekend, i introduced her to some guy who told me he liked her and the first thing the guy could come up with was some funny crappy question.
I gave a lecture last week on the topic above, it was important i let traditional commercial bankers know that there is a gust of wind sweeping through the financial industry in Nigeria and it was important to familiarize ourselves with these changes and prepare to position ourselves to provide superior financial services to our customers.
After the lecture they were mummurings that i evoked fear in some of my colleagues, querying the security of their jobs, that was not my intention .but it would be wrong of me not to open their eyes to new developments in the financial stratosphere.
